Our story, leadership, and the grace that carries us forward

Biography of Rev Titus Mumo Ndambuki

Rev Titus Mumo Ndambuki

I gave my life to Jesus Christ in August 1998 while I was still in Class Two. From that tender age, the hand of God rested upon my life. What began as a simple surrender to Christ became a lifelong commitment to serve faithfully in the house of the Lord.

Over the years within Redeemed Gospel Churches, I have been privileged to serve diligently in various capacities, including:
• Sunday School Teacher
• Youth Pastor
• Administrative Pastor
• Senior Pastor
And today, by the grace of God, a Reverend and Area Overseer. This journey has been one of growth, obedience, learning, and steadfastness. I have purposed in my heart to remain loyal, humble, and fully committed to the vision of Redeemed Gospel Church. I strongly believe that when one remains planted in God’s house, promotion comes from the Lord.

I am blessed with a supportive and devoted wife, Pastor Elizabeth Muthoni Mumo, and together we are blessed with three wonderful children, two girls and one boy. My family stands as a pillar of strength and partnership in ministry, and I thank God for them. By the grace of God, I remain determined to serve with loyalty, humility, and obedience under the spiritual authority of this great commission. My prayer is that God will continue to use me for His glory and for the advancement of His Kingdom.

Church Background

Redeemed Gospel Church Athi-River Sokoni began on 4th August 2019 at Kwa Mang’eli slum. The beginning was humble. The environment was challenging. Resources were limited. But the vision was clear, and the grace of God was sufficient. The church grew steadily both spiritually and numerically. Souls were won, lives were transformed, and families were restored. However, as the congregation increased, the space became too small to accommodate the growth. At that critical moment, Bishop Emeritus Nelson Ngutu demonstrated extraordinary faith and sacrifice. By offering his personal car as collateral and through the sacrificial giving of church members, a plot was purchased where we are now gathered. In April 2022, we shifted to this new location. What we see here today is not merely a building; it is a testimony of faith, sacrifice, unity, and divine provision.

📖 Church Growth & Vision

The church is growing both spiritually and numerically. We are witnessing transformation in families, youth empowerment, spiritual maturity, and leadership development. We trust God to increase and multiply us until we become one of the mega churches in Kenya and East Africa. Not for fame, not for numbers alone, but for impact, for discipleship, and for the advancement of the Kingdom of God. We believe that the international grace working upon us will carry us forward. The apostolic covering over this ministry assures us that the vision will not fail.

NEEMA ITATUTOSHA. Grace will be sufficient for us.

📈 Growth & Expansion

Through the years, the hand of God has been evident. The church moved from temporary structures to our current location, expanding its ministries to include a vibrant Youth Department, Children's Ministry, and community outreach. Our congregation continues to multiply, and we are actively planting seeds of revival across Athiriver region.

⛪ Today & Beyond

Today, we continue to grow in grace, reaching out to the Sokoni area and beyond, fulfilling the Great Commission through evangelism and discipleship. Our prayer is that RGC Athiriver Sokoni becomes a beacon of hope, shining the light of Christ in every corner of our community.

Word From Rev. Titus M. Ndambuki

Rev Titus Mumo Ndambuki

Reverend Titus Ndambuki
Lead Pastor

Faith that is untried is not faith and the trial of Faith does not happen within the confines of comfort. Our big faith encountered trials of equal measure! For example, what would you do if you had paid fee for all the approvals of the building, structural and Architectural only to discover that the person who you depended on conned you of all the money and brought to you fake documents. And all this is happening when the building is already off the ground. This is what I am talking about. Such and many more were our experiences for daring to walk by Faith.

As the visionary, sometimes one gets tired of appealing all the time for more funds from the members, but it is worse when giving fatigue sets on the members themselves. Through it all, finally here we stand to celebrate the doing of the Lord. I have learnt important lessons of Faith and this can only be captured well in a book on this kind of daring Faith. A project of this Magnitude is an enough empirical resource for any study material on the subject of Faith.

But to make it easy and simple, let me say this; God is not found in the parking lot, but on the fastest lane of the highway. What many people call faith is NOT faith but hope! Faith is a NOW WORD. No one who has faith waits for tomorrow. If you have faith, start NOW!!! This may appear negligible, but the truth is, this is where millions of people, including many servants of God are stuck. Faith requires an immediate step forward, which is largely lacking in many places where people want to see God.

Thank you so much friends, Great servants of God and the great members of Redeemed Gospel Church Athi-River Sokoni. May the almighty God also show HIS faithfulness to anyone, who would dare to believe that it is possible.
